WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS!! I was charged $30 for three junior Awful Awfuls, an employee also wrote in their own tip of $10 after the receipt was handed back to them on Wednesday, May 17th. I called them out on the mistake and they “fixed it”. They did not. I received a cash refund for the incorrect price of the Awful Awfuls (they gave me back $13 and change after the “correction” when I was given that they did not account for or get rid of that $10 “tip” whomever decided was appropriate to fill in themselves, which I found out yesterday after the pending charge that didn’t include the tip finally went through. Totally inappropriate! Who would ever tip $10 for something that should have totaled $16 MAX! I am appalled and just floored that this is happening and have to go back there for it to be “fixed” again a week later!

Nostalgia at its finest. Been eating Newport Creamery since my childhood and the food and service has always been great as long as I can remember. Awesome breakfast, hearty lunches and sweet desserts. A New England Classic.

I used to go with my dad way back. Had great experiences in the past. Sadly this place is nothing like I remember. My chocolate awful awful, which used to b our favorite, tasted like a mere McDonald's shake. They're horribly understaffed and the place smells like curdled milk. Won't be going back

Every time i go into this location it’s always a disappointment. Employees are never out on the floor it’s always a wait at the door. Tables are always dirty, floor is never swept. Food is always a long wait or servers are just rude. I know someone that works there who is a minor and works over 10 hr shifts during the school week. just disappointing. bathrooms are nasty. I don’t even want to get started on the managers. or how unprofessional the boss is with the general manager.

Used to be a 5 star experience but since the situation the last couple of years unfortunately I dropped my rating to a 4. Last couple of times there they didnt have certain items that brought us there to begin with. Under staffed didnt help as well but I'm sure the future will be brighter for them. Still cant beat the Awful Awfuls though.
