Da Mario - Seeheim-Jugenheim

Ottima pizza italiana con condimenti tedeschi.favolosa la bistecca di manzo australiano.ottima e poco alcolica la birra ambrata....da provare

I ate at Da Mario's on two separate occasions during my week stay in the area. I found the staff to be extremely kind and good natured but unfortunately that couldn't make up for the lack of acceptable service. Perhaps the fact that I was eating as part of a large group of foreigners turned them off, but our food was painfully slow to arrive (1+ hour wait), and we were paid very little attention to (no rechecks for drinks etc). The food, pizza and lasagna in particular, was actually quite good, but perhaps that was just the hunger! I am usually willing to waive poor service in busy times if the food is on point, which it very nearly was. Maybe try Da Mario's for a romantic meal for two instead!However, once we tried to deal with the bill I was let down again. We were charged 5 euro for a bottle of water (of which we had a lot, as it was 33 degrees outside), and it seemed that the prices were being made up on the spot (we split the bill), and no explanation could be given, which left a sour taste in all our mouths, even after the good food!

Good but...it's not like 100% Italian and German food was not amazing (Rumpsteak). Decorations remain from former Mexican restaurant.

Wir gehen öfter mal auswärts essen.Wenn wir Pizza wollen, führt kein Weg bei Toni im Da Mario vorbei.Abgesehen von den anderen - sehr guten Speisen - gibt es dort eine hervorragende Auswahl an Pizzen zu üblichen Preisen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Das Essen ist ganz ok. Nicht original italienisch, aber es schmeckt gut. Das Servicepersonal ist auch ganz nett.
