Filibertos Mexican Food - Sedona

We knew this was the right place when we saw so many local folks dining here on bowls of homemade pozole and fresh tortillas. We had to get ours para llevar (to go) because we had the dogs with us. Besides, who doesn't like the occasional reading dinner, where you just sit and read a book? Everything was delicious. Cowboy fries and enchilada platter were standouts, served with red and green salsa.

After reading reviews online saying it was affordable for steak tacos, we decided to try it out. This place is ridiculous. We went inside as a family (2 kids and 3 adults). We asked the lady at the register (who kept going on her phone and then putting it in her back pocket), how many steak tacos you get since the price was listed at $9. She stated “only one small taco nothing with it”. We automatically thought “what the heck, $9 for just ONE taco? Not even 2-3?”. After staring at their menu for 10 minutes just mind blown now at their prices, we decided just to get one container of their spicy carrots. I told her i just wanted one container of their spicy carrots, and she goes “That’s all you’re going to get?” in a rude smirky tone…. not to mention after we paid, we knew they were talking smack about us just getting spicy carrots. just overall rude, and not a good friendly environment. At this point, Taco Bell is 100% worth it, and probably more authentic than this place. 0/10 if i could put it. Probably would have costed us over $100 just to eat “fast food” tacos.

Very clean restaurant. Great food. Not a long wait.

This place will rip you off!!!!! I have NEVER had machaca burrito with no meat!!! They will not fix
