The Seagull - Sedgemoor

The past 18 years I've been coming to this pub every September for the country and western and I'm always impressed on the how good the staff and management are. I've really loved this year and the food has been excellent. Had a Sunday carvery today and portion sizes are enough to full any appetite. Looking forward to next year and many more to come.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times throughout the season and on several occasions, we were greeted by very rude staff, mainly at the door. One staff member, in particular, a small lady with a bad attitude towards people and a huge ego, spoke to us disrespectfully and then ran away when confronted. Other door staff took pictures of us from a concerning angle while I was wearing a dress. Weeks later, we found out that the same door woman was gossiping about us to other customers. The venue needs a thorough cleaning and better customer service as it is very monotonous.

The female security officer at this restaurant was top-notch, providing excellent service. What really impressed me was her entertaining TikToks. The bar staff was also very friendly and helpful, making for a great overall experience.
