The Boathouse - Sedgemoor

During our stay at the caravan park, we decided to dine at the Boat House. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant one evening and also ordered some pizzas to-go. The meal deal of 2 pizzas for £12 was perfect for our family on a budget, and the pizzas were definitely worth the price. The restaurant had a clean, fresh and inviting ambiance with a very welcoming atmosphere.

We recently stayed at Lakeside Holiday Park for 4 nights, and we went to the Boathouse every evening. The lager was good, at £3.60 a pint, but you could buy a 4 pint Jug for £12. The service was excellent and the Entertainment pretty good, bingo every evening. Children's entertainment seemed ok. There was a variety of Quizzes, game shows and one evening a singer on stage.

Great buffet plenty of food. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy. Would recommend it .

Pub type of food and fairly average in choice and quality and reasonably priced no complaints. Breakfast served from 8:30am and food served up to 9:30pm. Professional entertainment on some nights. Cash bingo available every night at 8:30pm with tickets on sale from 7:30pm.

Cannot believe that they charge around £6.50 for a chicken burger that contains one piece of breaded chicken in a cheap bun. Absolute rip off. Not a piece of salad or even lettuce in site, as opposed to the picture on the takeaway board. For four of us the meal with drinks came to £40. We spent just a fraction more the next night at a Greek restaurant and had a much nicer meal. If you are the sort of person who hates salad and loves eating frozen **** from Icelands, this is for you.
