Nice coffee and doughnuts, and a good variety of options for breakfast, lunch or snacks. Friendly staff and the shop always seems busy.

The milkshakes at this restaurant are a good value, though they were low on some options when I visited and one was noticeably thicker and better than the others. Despite this, they are reasonably priced, making it worth trying. The cakes are hit or miss, with my millionaire shortbread being delicious and worth the price, but my partner's Aussie crunch was lacking in both quality and quantity. Parking outside is limited, but there are usually a couple of free spaces available.

Wonderful private bakery with extensive range of bread and rollsalso cakes and takeaway items such as pasties and filled rolls sandwicheshelpful and cheerful staff nothing is too much trouble..we especially like the “cottage loaf” or the roll versioncake selection changes frequently and reflects the season..full disability accessparking can be problematic as it’s kerbside only — however highly recommend this lovely bakeryexcellent fresh products

We have been regular customers at Maiseys bakery for over 18 years, visiting every Saturday until the pandemic hit. Since the management change, we have noticed a significant increase in prices for their bread and cakes. Today, on 29/7/23, we paid £1.35 for the smallest Lardy square we've ever purchased. We understand that ingredient costs have gone up, but it's becoming challenging for us to justify the prices. Despite this, we must say that Maiseys' bread and cakes are still the best we've ever tasted. Stay safe.
