Contribuiți la feedbackDo not go to this restaurant under any circumstances. I have been here a few times before and it was excellent. However, it seems that there are new tenants who have no idea how to run a pub. On Friday night, they advertised it as fish night but only had white fish available, which was grey and mushy with a thick, soggy batter. They claimed it was cod, but it was probably minnow given the size of the fish in the batter. The chips were also soggy and rubbery. The pub was dark, cold, and empty on a Friday night, which should have been a warning sign. Needless to say, I refused to pay the bill.
Our walking group ended up at the King William Inne for Sunday lunch. Due to a shortage of staff, just Roast Beef or Turkey on offer. Excellent quality. Tasty tender meat with a large selection of vegetables. Catered for a dairy intolerant member too. Pleasant, friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure the best experience for their guests. Would definitely return.

Meet Robin, Nicky, and don 't forget Mark, They truly leave the rest in the dark, The king William at Catcott is by far the best And you can honestly keep the rest.
