Mazzio's Italian Eatery - Sedalia

There was a great selection of great tasting food on Mazzio's buffet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very family casual. I love it! It is now my favorite pizza restaurant.

Great food. Great service. Building could use some TLC .

My Fiancee ordered a small pizza it was good that's not the issue. I ordered Lasagna with meat sauce Canadian bacon and Chicken. Our food arrived in a reasonable time about 15. My Lasagna arrived in a foil pan and was huge, but by the 2nd bite I realized it wasn't hot, the cheese wasn't even melted. I returned my meal to the kitchen. My Lasagna arrived about 10 min later in a ceramic oval pan and was about half the size it was before. As I was eating I was looking for my chicken and bacon I found 5 pieces of each disappointing. As I'm eating alone I call waitress to table and inform her of my disappointment. About 5 minutes later the kitchen manager walks up to our table and I tell him I wish not to pay for my dinner I didn't even eat half, it was all meat sauce. The manager proceeds to argue with me and refused to take my dinner off of bill so I paid 11$ for something I didn't eat. Good pizza Lasagna and service sucks. Disappointed with Mazzios and wonder if there is a problem in Houston.

Placed online at 6:40pm. Received email at 7:45 order on it's way. It's 8:35pm and we haven't received our food. I'm super ticked.Told the meal was comped after calling customer service. It's not the money- it's the rudeness of the store lying and taking my money for an order I was never going to get. Doubt we ever go back.What in the world has happened to Sedalia businesses? So disappointed.

We arrived at Mazzio's at 12:15 on a Sunday. At that time the lobby was not very full. There was only one waitress working her butt off. Unfortunately it took a long time for her to get to us to take our order. We had salad bars, sodas, and ordered a calzone. An hour and a half later we finally got our calzone. But partly because I had to ask them at the window how much longer and have them put it in a box for us to take home and eat it.Although the food is good and the calzone was hot I'm not sure we'll be back, especially on a Sunday. We've gone during the week to the buffet as well and there's also only one waitress working. Mazzio's needs to figure out their staffing and and managing of the employees they do have. There are several helping make pizzas but are not willing to carry them out to the customers. The waitress is also in charge of ringing up orders and checking people out. I'm sure there are other capable bodies in the back that could help The poor overworked waitress.
