Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a magnificent park! The service was excellent, and the museum was truly fascinating. Everything was connected beautifully, and the gift shop was lovely as well. The ice cream was a perfect way to cap off the day! The abundance of beautiful trees made it feel like a stroll through a fairy tale. The only wildlife we spotted were snakes, lizards, birds, and squirrels. I brought my four sons, and they absolutely loved it! It was easy to navigate the park with them. We all had a wonderful time, so I highly recommend it for families! There are spacious walking paths, convenient parking, a playground for children, and a picnic area that accepts both cards and cash.
Nice state park. Hiking trails are very beautiful. I was somewhat disappointed by the scarcity of the wildlife. All raves over the tram, but I was here in January, when every day the record broke for new Covid cases and I wasn't comfortable with the tram where nobody wore a mask and there was no social distancing. The campsite was very close to campsites. Rangers and camp hosts were very pleasant and helpful.
This campsite and state park is absolutely amazing! There's a wealth of history here and numerous scenic trails to explore. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they maintain the area impeccably clean! There are multiple shower houses and restrooms available, as well as a washing machine and dryer in the camping area. Kids can enjoy several playgrounds, and there are bike paths suitable for the whole family. It's a perfect spot for families, and we highly recommend it!
During our visit, we took the tram ride and it was an amazing experience! We were promised lush vegetation and some mosquitoes, and we certainly encountered more wildlife than mosquitoes. The tram ride cost around $10 per ticket and was absolutely worth it! I highly recommend it to tourists looking to see alligators and learn about Florida's plants and wildlife. Don’t forget to check out the gift shop, which has fascinating displays of an extinct tortoise shell, a bear, and a bobcat. They also offer some great souvenirs and snacks. Overall, I give it a 10/10!
Went with a friend to just walk talk. Beautiful visit with picnic tables galore and wonderful restroom facilities. The store wasn’t open (wish we had brought water to drink! the trail going back in the hammock was really cool (and I felt safe with a 14 foot gator (and her 6 babies below us!
