If you're really hungry, be sure to try the sandwich and side option, such as the mouthwatering Kartoffel and Clam Kissin, which will surely satisfy your cravings. The garlic toast that accompanies the mussels is a delightful addition that elevates the dish to another level of deliciousness. The pastrami sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Kudos to the chef, as not only does the Rye toast come with a generous portion of pastrami, but it also includes crispy bacon that adds an extra layer of flavor. And let's not forget the fresh salad and tomato slices that make you feel as though you're enjoying a homemade meal prepared by your own mother.
Wow, what an amazing meal! The fried fish at this old restaurant is truly top-notch. The atmosphere and decor are fantastic. Special thanks to the staff for their excellent service, and for accommodating us during our visit. Many thanks for a great dining experience!
The place is very small and can not look like much on the outside, but it is very good. the lady was very friendly on the phone and personally. there was a small sitting area, but I ordered the cash to eat again in the hotel. I actually went up to her little kitchen that was right next to the it was area, and watched that she had my mussel runner right out of the pot and bag everything for me. that may seem strange to some people, but I thought it was wonderful. everything seemed very clean until I could see, and my food was good. the Clam-Chowder was very good, he came with oyster crackers. the ranch dressed on my salat was something of the best I ever tasted! I was so satisfied with the great service and the quality of food from such a tiny place that I would go back definitiw if I were in the opposite.
Small escaping, nothing imagination. we ordered the halibut fish and chips for 2 special (with drinks.) many to see in the kaboose, and the eating was very good. not a huge escaping area, but the service was good and so was the eating we would go back here as in long beach.
A friend recommended this place to us (we're from out of town), so of course my husband and I had to try it! We both got specialty sands. I chose the Hot Pastrami, Bacon, Swiss and my husband got the Round House Rueben, and let me tell you.. they were absolutely delicious!! Freshly made and so packed with flavor. We each took a bite of the other's sandwich out of curiosity after our own tasted so good, and both thought the other's sandwich was delicious too! GREAT food, wouldn't change a thing. I would absolutely go again if I was back in the area sometime. ?????
