Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is still the best Korean grill in Seattle. If you're looking for something close to authentic Seoul, this is the place to go. I have read some of the recent reviews and recommend asking the staff for recommendations as they are very helpful. While there are some meat options that may be less preferred, you definitely get what you pay for here. The ribs and marinated meats in front of the banchan were delicious. Our party of five had a great experience overall, but I deducted a star because they could use more employees. I understand that restaurants are struggling to recover from COVID, but this is an area that could be improved.
Butgol was one if not the worst KBBQ experiences I've ever had. Neverthelessgol has two main options when it comes to kbbq; charcoal and gas grill. the option of wood charcoal is very expensive for a very limited amount of food. in the meantime, all they can eat gas grill option served sad quality meat. while there are many things that went wrong with our meal, the lack of service was probably the worst. followed by the huge fume capuze blocking talk, bad banchan, and then again with the bad service. we had to hunt the server three times for bases like a fresh grill or more meat and banchan. even the call button was ignored. another table near had the same problems with the lack of service, so it wasn't just our group. Finally, there are better KBBQ sites around seattle. ain't a no
For all the kale lovers and vegetarians/vegans out there, it's not advisable to visit a Korean restaurant expecting a plethora of options catered to your dietary preferences. In Korea, the only individuals who typically adhere to a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle are Buddhist monks or individuals with medical constraints. It's akin to visiting a steakhouse and requesting a vegetarian/vegan dish - while some places may accommodate, it's somewhat audacious to expect such options at a traditional Korean eatery.
Non-vegetarian friendly/bad customer service. I cannot comment on the food as after waiting 45 minutes, the waitress informed us that their manager did not allow our party of 5 to order. The reason? We had a vegetarian friend who wanted to order a pancake, a beer, and a soup that matched the price of an individual all-you-can-eat order. It seemed as though they were afraid that we would secretly share food with our vegetarian friend. There was no indication on the menu that everyone in the party had to order all-you-can-eat. We waited for an hour and never received a response. We were left hungry and confused, wondering why it mattered if our friend was willing to pay the same price as a regular all-you-can-eat meat meal.
They only served 4 ban chan and used small plastic disposable containers. The meat portions were small and kind of pricey. Everything was served on disposable plates. It just seemed really expensive to be eating off small paper plates. The other Korean restaurants we go to serve way more ban chan and use real plates.
