Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a great little mini-mart/deli-style restaurant in West Seattle. I love going here after taking a long walk around Lincoln Park. They have a wide variety of wines and beers (among other things) in the market, and the food in the deli section is varied and delicious. The people here are super friendly and I highly recommend it!
I had an absolutely amazing Reuben, one of the best I've ever had. The French fries that came with it were also fantastic. The seating options were minimal inside, but we found a spot, which was lucky because it was raining. On a nice day I would recommend taking out anyway and finding a spot outside. Definitely recommend!!!
This place is a nice, neighborhood cozy atmosphere. The food is a bit limited, but the soups, sandwiches, and salads are all great. I was a little miffed when I decided to order online only after I walked out thinking the selection was even more limited than it was only to see the menu posted on their window outside. If they had the same menu up at the counter, it sure didn't jump out. When I went back in to buy a drink to take up to the deck while I waited for my food, they initially told me online orders are only for take out. Like I'm not allowed up on the deck while I wait? You want me to stand in the deli and sip my drink while I wait? Really? Thankfully, I asked somebody else behind the counter after I purchased my drink and they were happy to bring my food upstairs. I guess now that I know, I'll make sure to look at the menu outside and order at the counter next time just in case I get the wrong person ringing me up.
We waited 40 minutes for egg salad sandwiches. We were initially told the patio was “pretty busy” which prompted my spouse to cancel the draft beer he’d ordered (since it wasn’t clear there would be any place to drink it). Took a chance on the patio since the alternative was waiting at the curb and discovered three open tables. The cashier who warned us it was busy brought someone a beer a few minutes later…. 40 minutes later, after all the people who ordered after us were served, we retrieved our sandwiches with a quick apology for “the wait.” The sandwiches were fine—some shells, unfortunately—but we felt so unwelcome I can’t imagine returning.
Oh, my gosh. I could live in this market. I got the turkey sandwich twice—that fruity mustard is killer. Such a cute place to grab fun snacks, drinks, other accoutrements.
