The Swinery - Seattle

It seems that they're permanently closed, which is really disappointing. I used to love this restaurant; it had the best lunch in the area. I regret not trying their ribs when I had the opportunity. I really hope they consider reopening soon.

Established in 2006, The Swinery has been an excellent establishment. Make sure to visit before they close on March 24th! :D

I recently visited this restaurant in the afternoon to grab a sandwich, but I was met with a surprisingly rude response when I asked about a sandwich that needed to be grilled—only to find out that the grill was closed at 4 PM. The person behind the counter reacted very aggressively to my simple question, which was completely uncalled for. Having worked in customer service before, I know that such behavior would have gotten me fired. After this experience, I won’t be returning. It’s quite disappointing to leave without even trying your food, don’t you think? I suggest the staff on duty re-evaluate their attitude and remember the importance of good customer service for a local business.

OMG! Amazing sandwich. It’s called the spectacular and spectacular is the best description. Make sure to have lots of napkins as it is big and messy. Looking forward to trying the rest of their sandwiches.?

There's serious love and art in each item we've ordered. Generous servings of quality food...you can taste the skill and pride in each bite. Every element can stand on its own, the preparation of the bread, sauce, each meat, the crunch element...yum. You can taste the subtle smoke in the meat. It's definitely not BBQ, but a tasty smoked meat shop with delicious prepared options. I pick up a whole guanciale everytime I visit. It has that subtle smoke and rosemary flavor...yum. Great for carbonara. it's a small place. People are personable. Don't go if you're in a hurry or need something quick. Go when you have time to appreciate the effort, skill and love put into the prepared food options. Or go and check out some of the meat options you can purchase and prepare at home.
