Tamarind Tree - Seattle

My husband and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Service was impeccable and food was delicious. I was just a bit disappointed that the 7 plate beef course was not available due to under staffing. I really loved the mango salad, the beef la lot and the tumeric coconut rice cake! The braised catfish dish was a tad salty for me, but well cooked otherwise. Definitely would recommend this place!

Edited: came here for dine in during lunar new year and everything feels so festive! We tried a special shrimp with coconut pancake, coconut jelly, and a house special rise dish. The chicken skewer was a bit old, but all the flavors were just right. The coconut jelly is so refreshing, can’t wait to try again in summer!! Roasted duck noodle plate. It’s so flavorful with sweet and sour dipping sauce and a cup of hot soup. Will definitely visit again!

They have a wide variety range of Vietnamese dishes with pretty close to authentic taste. The only downside is that the price is quite high for Vietnamese food and servers are always busy, really hard to get server’s attention.

The food was excellent and delicious. The decorations are cozy and chilling. I love how the staff kept checking on my table to see if we needed anything. Overall satisfaction is excellent. Highly recommend everyone to this restaurant.

I really want to support ID businesses since it’s all been so sad to see what’s happened w covid and hate crimes. food and service was awesome and forgot to take more photos. the coconut and chili martinis tasted great and nice n strong. definitely wanna try more of the menu.
