Premier Meat Pies - Seattle

It's a THING! Meat Pies is a beautiful place for lunch or dinner along the waterfront. The quality of food beats mother's home cooking. I'm sorry, Mom. They also have sweet cakes, cold drinks and friendly staff.

Went here as a spur of the moment decision and was surprised at just how good it was. I tried the classic pasties and the Irish stew one and they were amazing. Their wine pairings were spot on. My friend tried the bangers and mash said they were Freaking Delicious. Will visit again when I come back to Seattle.

So we stumbled on this place by luck. As soon as you enter, hit the flavors and it is amazing. As soon as we set ourselves on the waiter/Koch, the waiter was and happy his favorites. I chose the seasonal potato maize runner with a roasted baguette. At least it was AMAZING. The aromas were bright and beautifully highlighted. I'm not big in Seattle today. But I'm sure I'll come back to this place.

So pleased to finally try a Cornish Pasty. The pastry was thin and delicate and fills delicious. Server was friendly and things were clean and well run. Wonderful place on the water in the heart of the action

The atmosphere is overwhelming, but the restaurant is conveniently located near Miner?s landing. The three pasties were tried ALL delicious shepherds cake, chicken, and the Mac and cheese. But the crime brûlée was the star. Very recommended! A good price for lunch!
