Pomerol Restaurant - Seattle

Food at Pomerol is consistently outstanding. Grilled pork chop with apricot chutney and applesauce was the perfect summer dish!

The restaurant wouldn’t honor their own gift card, claiming their machines no longer read the cards. When presented with the value from receipt they said nothing could be done to process payment. The gift card was from a friend, for my birthday. Such a poor decision, as I nor my friends and their friends will be returning their for such poor customer service. (Also essentially stealing over $200 from my friend without offering refund of the gift card value...

My pre-dinner cocktail was excellent and the watermelon salad was also really good. The other four dishes we had were just ok or worse, with one dish being so salty we couldn't eat it. I've had good meals here before so I'm not sure if it was just a bad night, but I won't be going back.

It was a quiet 4th for us, maybe the JV staff but the food could have used a little more taste. Presentation was pleasant but for the price the taste/food was not great.

The food was quite good and the service from Sierra was excellent! On a Sunday night it was very quiet, with only 1 or 2 other tables. We were hoping for a little bit more of the excitement that the atmosphere around the restaurant has. We smelled like a Camp Fire after we got home. The wood fire is legit! Over all, a great night out.
