Island Soul Caribbean Cuisine - Seattle

You absolutely cannot go wrong here! I have tried the mussels, plantains, gumbo, curry goat, and ox tail, and they were all excellent. The only downside is that the portions are a bit small for the price, but in my opinion, it is worth it.

The fried catfish and cornbread are a must order. Delicious!

I recently had their food catered at a non-profit event and OH MY LANTA

I hadn't visited Island Soul in years, but I thought it would be a nice idea for a date night. However, I was disappointed to find that the food was not up to par - it was very under-seasoned compared to how it used to be.

The service was ASTRONOMICAL!! Could not believe how quickly, I was in out. The ox-tails were bland; seasonings tasted like they were missing in action.
