El Gaucho - Seattle

My husband and I came in for a date night/early birthday celebration last night. The atmosphere in this restaurant is absolutely incredible. I loved the darkness, how romantic it felt in there, and overall how stunning the restaurant is. We were immediately greeted upon entering and sat down within the next minute for our 7:30 reservation (Our original reservation was at 6:45, but the ferry was running extremely late so another s/o for being so accommodating to us). We got lucky and were sat right next to the piano which was perfect. We loved the live music!! Our server was amazing with answering questions, checking up on us, and making sure we were happy. I just have to say the food was out of this world. My husband and I were at a loss of words to how delicious the food was. The lamb lollipops, calamari, filet mignon, bone in ribeye, Alaskan king crab, baked potato, and scalloped potatoes were all a 10/10. We can’t wait to go back!

The food is incredible. Highly recommend the table side ceasar and the chateaubriand. Definitely get the bananas foster for desert.

You guys were amazing. Thank you for giving us a wonderful night for my husband’s birthday. We love all the little touches. Food was amazing all throughout. Service is top notch, can’t ask for more. Luca’s awesome. Will be back for sure!

Best steak house in the country. You can't go wrong with any dish here. Plenty of flair with all the flaming dishes and table side preparations. Great for celebrations or just a nice meal with good people. UPDATE: Back two years later, still an impeccable meal, service and atmosphere. The change to the steak tartare was amazing, you have to try it!

The staff and food were exceptional. We were celebrating, and our table was beautifully decorated with rose petals. Our server made the experience truly memorable. The steaks were outstanding, and the drinks and dessert were delicious. We will definitely return when we’re in Seattle.
