Ballard Mandarin Chinese - Seattle

I was really hungry and ordered too much food at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the dishes were lackluster and lacked flavor. The Mongolian beef was bland and lacked any nuance. It reminded me of a disappointing Chinese meal my mother once served. The Cashew Chicken was equally disappointing. The potsticker wrappers were so thick that it was difficult to taste the filling. I would not recommend eating here.

Eating is really hit or miss for me: I usually order general tso huhn and orange huh. I had these dishes here four times. 2 of the times they were really good! but the others weren't. 1 times I thought the sose (or maybe the han used for huh tastes bad (almost fish? not sure) the woman agreed and we rejected her. the other bad time, the huh was much too chew and honestly inedible, I had to spit out any other piece; because it was impossible to chew down. difficult to place time exactly, but the first time we ordered was perhaps september 2021 and the last april 2022. I can still give it a chance in a few months and may update the review.

We have come to greenwood mandarin for 25 years and when it is closed to ballard mandarin, no warning whether they have a new cook, but our favourite standards are different. always enjoyed finer cuts of meat with deliciously glazed sauces consistently great. the last visit meats are thicker pieces, glazed sauces are dry and dishes overall lack taste
