Contribuiți la feedbackThe pancakes were absolutely amazing! I ordered the Short Stack, and they certainly weren't short at all. I would have only eaten one, but they were so delicious that I just had to have the second one!
The Pancake Combo was way too big for the box; I could only manage one pancake. It’s a shame there’s no option to choose the amount. I really wanted the Golden Waffle, but you only get one, and I could easily eat two. However, the Bacon Cheddar Omelet was fantastic, and the potatoes were delicious too! The Watermelon Flavored Lemonade is absolutely amazing!
I loved the waffle, adobo fried rice was a bit on the oily side and the green bell peppers overwhelmed the whole dish and unfortunately took away the whole flavor but it was a good concept. A tad bit pricey but I'm sure supplies are not cheap.
The shrimp and grits were so bland that I ended up sending them back and chose not to order anything else. The plate was greasy and had a layer of dust that was noticeable enough to swipe away with my finger. Our server seemed completely disinterested, insincere, and indifferent, only pushing the priciest items on the menu. They even went as far as to say their breakfast sandwich wasn’t good. How can a brunch spot have a bad breakfast sandwich? I also tried the lumpia, but it was just average. Overall, the flavors of everything were unseasoned and lacked personality—spices? It seems like they forgot about them. I’m giving it two stars only because my friends said their pancakes were decent. We also waited for 30 minutes after checking in with our entire group. I won't be returning.
I ordered a large glass of orange juice along with the chicken fried steak smothered in country gravy, which set me back $31 for one meal, the juice, tax, and tip. The chicken fried steak was outstanding; it had a perfectly crispy texture and the meat was so tender that it could be cut with a fork. However, the country gravy was an absolute disaster in terms of flavor. Its texture resembled wheat paste and it lacked any hint of seasoning. Honestly, a pre-packaged spice mix from the grocery store would have been an improvement. It was such a struggle to get through it that I ended up scraping it off to avoid finishing the rest. How does a restaurant with such high praise end up serving such dreadful country gravy? Are they trying to avoid offending anyone with spices? Country gravy is supposed to be seasoned! I've never encountered a restaurant that managed to ruin the flavor profile of country gravy to the point where it's inedible. Shaking my head at this experience.
