Red's Donuts - Seaside

Without a doubt, I've never tasted a better donut in my life...and I really love donuts. The staff here is incredibly friendly, polite, and quick. The customers are an interesting mix of regulars and newcomers. The donuts are roughly twice as thick as a Krispy Kreme and far more delicious. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and polished off 8 donuts in one sitting, all for just about five dollars. I can't stop dreaming about Reds...

The friendly service and charming atmosphere make this a place you'll want to return to time and again. Locals have made it a tradition to visit with their children, grabbing a donut, a cup of coffee, or perhaps a tasty roll. After sitting for a few moments, you'll truly feel like you're leaving the outside world behind as the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the delightful taste of an old-fashioned donut transport you to another place. If you prefer, there's also a selection of cake donuts to enjoy. With over 240 dozen donuts sold every day, you'll have no trouble finding your favorite treat. Just be warned: word of this gem has spread to those attending events at the nearby Monterey Conference Center. It's not uncommon for the shop to sell out quickly in the mornings when a convention is in town. So, arrive early, grab a seat, and indulge in something delicious!
