Aztec Sand Grille - Seaside Heights

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The service was quick and friendly, the prices were reasonable, and there was good music to dance to, especially on the Saturday night I visited. I have no complaints at all and I will definitely return the next time I'm by the sea.

This is a bar I frequently visit at Jersey Shore, so my friend and I made sure to stop by. The interior is a bit dated, but the bartenders were friendly and the drinks were great! They don't serve food, but it's a good spot for larger groups since there's an open dance floor.

I wouldn't bother trying to grab a drink here, plenty of other places on the boardwalk that won't give you a hard time! I went to seaside for my 24th birthday, and I was denied a drink because I didn't have TWO forms of ID... TWO?! Hardly anyone will travel with two forms of ID that has your photo on it to a bar of all places. The man working told me he couldn't serve me because I didn't have a passport or anything else to go ALONG WITH my ID!! Ridiculous. He wasn't too nice about it either. It was if he was trying to play a joke. Everywhere else won't demand 2 forms of ID they're friendly.

This is a classic seaside hotel, that I have stayed at three different times. They have done some painting and renovations to tidy the facility up, that do look nice. The rates are reasonable for the location, and I think some of the other reviewers maybe didn't take all that into consideration. It's safe, the staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the water is hot. You spend maybe 8 hours in the room and you are right on the boardwalk which is a great feature! My friends and I will be back for our future get aways! Thank you Aztec for another great trip!

SEASIDE HEIGHTS: We had a great time at the Aztec Bar, enjoying their delicious hot dogs on the outdoor deck. Since Aztec is conveniently located right on the corner, it's easy to access without having to walk too far along the boardwalk. It's a lively party bar featured on the Jersey Shore TV Show, and just like Snooki, Brie always says, "the party starts here!" We also had the pleasure of meeting a family from Texas, who appreciated the drinks and the stunning views of the Ferris wheel. It's an excellent spot for people-watching, but we recommend bringing your dog during off-peak times when it’s not too crowded.
