The Hangout Restaurant Beach Bar

The proximity to the ocean is amazing. We could see the ocean while eating lunch. I had the fish and chicken tacos with were very favorable. If I am ever back in seal Beach I will definitely give them another visit.

Great restaurant. excellent service, great drinks and friendly atmosphere. eating was excellent, roasted fish sandwich on sourdough bread perfect and crispy. this restaurant would come back to everyone.really enjoyed us.

Came here for the first time to have lunch. It was a Saturday around 1pm. The wait time to be seated was 15 minutes which was not bad. But we ended up finding seats at the bar right away so we sat at the bar instead. Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. I like the atmosphere. Plus they play 80s new wave music too. 5 stars boom!

Good atmosphere Awesome wait staff- I.e. check on you periodically and suggest offerings. Food was great Bar isn’t too loud TV throughout and on the latest sports

Stopped at the Hangout this morning after a beach cleanup. Was a little busy so we decided to sit at the bar which was full service. We opted for breakfast and breakfast cocktails. We got the breakfast tacos and a breakfast burrito. Both were quite tasty and very filling. The breakfast cocktails were also quite tasty. I recommend their house made guava juice. The staff was super friendly and the facility is nice and clean. It's a beachfront spot so parking is tight or for but worth it.
