Scarborough Fair - SEA GIRT

Normally I would give outstanding marks for this restaurant but last night was not up to par. We was seated in bar area which was very noisy last night.The escargot special was in a pastry puff. It was chewy with no flavor. The drunken mussels appetizer sauce was bland. Not worth dunking my bread into. The Halibut special was very good I am happy to say. Food is usually very good here. Next time I will request to be seated in the round room behind the bar. Very nice room. Also if you haven’t dined there before there is cozy seating on the stairway left and right side of the entrance.

We've been meaning to go there for a few years and finally made it, and it was not disappointing. It's a beautiful restaurant and the food was outstanding. Recommend the lamb chops. Don't recommend the escargot.

Very unique, making a reservation in the future i would request one table going up the stairs. Our server was excellent.

We went to Scarborough fair for a birthday and was so nice they seated us and sprinkled birthday glitter on the table. Just a nice touch. Food was delicious and every staff member we encountered were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back

What a fabulous experience!!We were celebrating my first outing following knee replacement surgery 2 weeks ago and the staff was incredibly helpful with providing details to minimize having to use steps. Such kindness in advising me to come in via the ramp proved invaluable. We were seated at a pleasant table near the bar and were treated to the most wonderful piano player throughout our meals . Dinner was exceptional-amazing calamari with an incredible wasabi aioli sauce AND a fabulous Thai chili sauce-so good. Ordered the rack of lamb which was incomparably delicious !!! Quickly became one of my all-time favorite meals! This was a thoroughly exceptional experience !!
