Definitely steer clear of this place. I can say without exaggeration that this was the worst donair I ever had in Calgary. It was cold, the wrap was stale, the meat tasted old and the filling was stingy. As others have said, there seems to be training issues as well. The wrap wasn't actually properly wrapped and even the packaging was wonky. Of course, that wouldn't matter if the food was good but it's terrible. You've been warned. Service: Take out

Solid portion size, decent food. The meat could have been better, it was pretty dry and in big chunks in the east coast Donair. I’ll give this place another shot. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20

My partner and I dropped by prairie on Friday for our first experience after meaning to go in for the past few weeks. We were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. Whilst not a traditional donair or shawarma, prairie offered something else entirely. A modern take on wraps altogether. I had the maple covered donair (the Canadian) and my partner had the chicken and lamb. The sauces were tasty and the meat and veges were abundant. What also made the experience while was the customer service. The gentleman serving us couldn’t have done more to make our experience pleasant. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the product, and an all round nice bloke. If ur in the area, looking for a quick tasty bite at affordable prices then look no further.
