Mount Royal Pita - SE

The guy behind the counter was friendly and polite, but that’s about all I have to say that’s positive. It took 20 minutes to make a single donair, and it was honestly the worst donair I’ve ever had. I only ate about half of it and gave up. For 50% more than anywhere else for the entire donair, they shouldn’t be using single-wrapped processed cheese slices either. Not much selection for toppings either. It’s a shame, because when they were Desert Pita, they were fairly decent. Obviously very different ownership and management now.

Gross all round. Took forever to make a dry tasteless wrap. Everything tasted old and bread was stale. Looked unclean. Don’t waste your time here.

Said they were open. Went there sign says “be back in 10 min”. We have been waiting for more than 10 minutes. Guy/girl never showed up.

It was my first visit to Mount Royal Pita Few months a go I did not find all the negative comments mintioned by others. The restaurant serve a delicious chicken shawerma that is served with respect and smile.

One star taken away for quality of food, one star taken away for bad customer service, one for dingy conditions, and one for disrespecting our laws and resregarding literally everyones safety, AHS. Zero respect for Calgarians- quite shameful. I hope they are permanently shuttered.
