Posh at The Scranton Club

We each enjoyed the signature salad. My husband had the filet. very tender and tasty. I had the special Asian short ribs. Very good.

We always love POSH. Last night we had a small party of six for the Thursday night lobster special. It was outstanding. We sometimes order a few apps to share and that works great too. Cocktails are a must.

They definitely need to overhaul their kitchen. Filet mignon tough without a good taste. Scallops not seared. Discolored with an off putting fishy taste. Wondering if they just over baked them in an oven. Saffron risotto was a gummy, overcooked mess. Their usual terrific quality was just not there. Disappointing.

We enjoyed the Sunday brunch with good food, an amazing salmon BLT, and a tasty creme brulee to finish. POSH was nicely busy but not crowded. A good choice for a special meal after Sunday church.

Ambience is Posh's strength- fabulous rooms full of history and character. The food is good, but the menu a bit limited. Service great.
