Contribuiți la feedbackI had avoided this place due to previous negative reviews, but was invited to go with a group before seeing a show. I thought it was worth a try. as it turned out, the server was very well known about the dishes that could be made vegan, which were almost all. she showed me which sliced dishes could be made with potato or cauliflower as substitute and let me know which side vegans were. the food was delicious! I was disappointed that I had the evaluations taken away for so long.
Do you know what is worse than hangingry (sic) and having your mouth ready to find out that you can't have it? nothing is worse than that! Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to me. I was in many Indian restaurants and all were very courteous with vegan requests, even if they were not a vegetarian restaurant. Nevertheless, I called before the time and talked to a man who assured me that they could make vegan aloo saag for me. So I'm rushing, happy to finally try this place for myself. I could practically taste the spicy, I was so excited! When I arrived, the place was empty, except for me and two waiters. I was greeted and sitting by the server
After a few years of abstinence of Indian food, I thought a visit in jewel of the crown would give me warm fuzzia everywhere, but instead of being overcome with taste, comfort and satiation, my vegetarian meal made me feel unhappy and underwhelmed. service was a, but food averaged to a b- only because of the audible I have increased the quality over the meat. when they eat with a carnivore, I suggest that they order mixed kabobs 20) their presentation was more attractive than anything else on the table. for me seemed taste of only the chutneys to come. a red, that was mild and tasted like tamarinde; the other green and spicy with zilantro and other crumbled could not recognize my back. in the did, chutney saved the meal. we ordered a third chutney, mango 3 not worth it) that is not made in the house. it is overly sweet with lumps of candied fruits. unimpressive. samosa appetizer was served with a spoon of chana. the brot was fried to the right and not too thick. I didn't want it. bharta makni 12) came in a hot pot with teak underneath and shimmered still at the arrival. the menu describes it as auberginen mixed with tweepers and tomaten, but it was a not recognizable pure dish mixed with muddy green heaps. I could hardly taste the flavor so I carved it in green chutney. vegetable curry served clobular, but with all the starchy vegetables and I quickly lost interest. fortunately, with an underwhelming meal, my mind allows to wander. I started annoying veral comparison with other restaurants. protocol details that I would normally ignore were disturbing: 1. is this garlauch naan? really? 2. Where is the garlic? 3. Have you taste a garlic? 4. not worth $3. one, yes, but not three. 5. this is the first Indian restaurant in which I did not get a small platelet of pappadum on seating. 6. we have to pay for pappadum? 7. isn't naan supposed to be fluffy brot? 8. I remember being nasty. 9. this naan is flat on one side. it's like cracker texture. 10. Where is the garlic? 11. I still don't steal a garlic? 12. they do not even offer mints or leashes at the end. three out of five for jewel of the crown. Yes, I would go back, but not soon.
I ate here and it was very delicious. I had the aloo gobi with paratha and it was delicious. service was wonderful and price is surprisingly fair
Big group, don't worry. great night was with 20 guests. have Indian eating in sharing of az, as well as new york and Australians, that was one of the better places that is safe. the staff was friendly and attentive and the meals were served quickly. worth a return visit.
