There was only one person working and there was no air conditioning, making it uncomfortably hot. The food was terrible. I am not a picky eater, but the food had a stale and unpleasant smell. The vegetables were soggy and the shrimp was drowned in sauce with a terrible odor.
It is important for the restaurant to clearly communicate that they are no longer open for dine-in service upfront. We have been checking for 2 years and the restaurant is still closed for dine-in, which is frustrating. Not everyone wants to do pick up and have their car smelling like food. Please update your website and make it clear on Google that your establishment is pick-up only. This lack of communication is disrespectful to customers.
After a few visits I can say the food is average. However, the lemon chicken was slightly over cooked and dried out. The shrimp with lobster sauce didn't have much sauce and was overflowing with white onions. Will not order that dish again .Mongolian beef is one of the best I've had. The white and brown rice is above average in quality . Time to reopen dining room ..maybe food quality would be better versus take out
They’re very hit or miss with their orders. Everytime we order from them there is always something missing. I ordered the chicken chop suey this time around and it looks nothing like it. More like chicken soup. The sauce was just water. Very hesitantto return here.
Joyful is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We have been doing takeout since Covid. We often drive or walk to Joyful. Despite the price increases due to Covid, Joyful still offers good value. A hot tip is to try the Thai dishes on the menu for something different.
