Firehouse Subs Pinnacle Peak

I like fireworks, but this is always understated. Is definitely downhill since Post Covid. Be ready to wait at 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches minimum.

I had just let Grubhub deliver 2 middle subs for my first Firehouse experience. I am someone who likes to spend money on quality food and for this price it was shockingly terrible. I went with steak and cheese as well as a meatball sub for a small variety. The shaved steak was not what I had earlier. It was anemic looking, with a galenical texture, and off-putting taste. The boiled peppers and onions were boiled so that they had a paste like texture and almost fermented. Did they rot? As for meatball, it was just as bad. The sauce tasted like pure tomato paste, was sticky and disgusting. The meatballs themselves were the same with a school cafeteria. The bread used for both subs was weak, muddy and coarse. For $12-13 for every medium sub if they were $5 per, it would still be too much. Shockingly bad is the only way to sum it up.

Put an online order in ~30 minutes before it is closed. I showed myself before my order was to be done and they informed me that their online order was closed and they did not allow me to make an order. Great customer service, great shops. I won't come back. Time wasted.

I love this place! Always friendly staff and it is clean and air-conditioned inside. Sandwiches are always delicious. My favorite is the meatball! Cool soda machine with more than enough choices and outdoor seating when there is no oven outside. Great place for lunch!

First time was okay although both times there were barely any vegetables and was pointless to order. This time, however, the customer service wasn 't as good and the good was messed up. I was creating my own sub when the gal asked for help and her coworker entirely switched what I was doing (probably to make it easier for the newer gal) to a veggie sandwich. I informed them NO meat or dairy because I 'm vegan, and then proceeded to 'create ' my gluten-free/ vegan sub.... When I got back to the work site (25 minutes away, mind you) there was dairy on my sandwich and missing vegetables (of course most were stuck to the cheese).... This experience was not okay with me at all because again I 'M VEGAN FOR MANY REASONS, and they ruined my sandwich. Only reason I would ever order here is if my brother wants something while we 're working out this way, but I won 't ever order for myself again. BTW- you need more vegan options!! Get with the times people, the world is changing.
