Cielo At Adero Scottsdale

We were definitely upset. We have made reservations and other plans for this special reservation a week before arrival and tell us that they were already closed. Open table must check with restaurants and communicate when hours change. It was very frustrating and annoying.

Beautiful location with vies! But red wine served cold, food okay for price. Nice spot for breakfast on patio. Not for dinner.

We had the most amazing experience. The bar tenders servers at the lounge were so personable, and the views were to die for. I would highly recommend going at sunset, and staying into the evening. Watching the city lights twinkle was beautiful. The only thing to note is dinner is served at the restaurant, not the lounge. We made reservations at the lounge, and when we arrived had to rearrange to eat. NOT a big deal at all, but I recommend making reservations at restaurant and lounge. You do not want to miss the food!

Overall excellent experience, but a couple of caveats to consider. Facts: We were visiting from out of state. Staying at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort. Looking for a romantic night out with my wife. Found Cielo Restaurant not too far for dinner (which was awesome). Afterwards, walked downstairs to the outdoor area called Skytop. Had a reservation in advance for both via Open Table. A little deceiving name Skytop because it was not up high on the property, but rather on an edge with a view out to the city. Positives: Ambiance was awesome, trees all lit up, comfortable outdoor furniture on artificial turf, awesome view. Not too crowded on a Sunday night. Open until 11pm, decent for the day of week. It was pretty slow there, which made it great because we got choice seating and a lot of attention from staff. Bartender was server too. He was incredible. Very attentive/proactive and made it an awesome experience. Took pics of us, moved furniture so we had best of everything they had. The drinks he made us (different kinds of margaritas and a house pineapple mezcal drink) were the best we had in a long time. He took time with us and let us have space for the romantic evening. Music was nice in background (some pop and hip-hop) ... Not too loud. The whole evening was incredible. Negatives: While the experience was sooooo romantic, not sure it would be the same as noted in positives above had they been really busy. Also, had we been looking for a busy bar/club, loud music with dancing, or really social scene, this wouldn't have hit the mark, at least not on a slow Sunday night. Other caveat was prices of drinks. Pretty high, but worth it for us given the quality of the drinks, excellent service/attention, and ambiance.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Sky Top. The poor server was thinly served clients inside and outside, so the service was a little slow. We didn't care because we enjoy the view and the beautiful surroundings. The drinks and the food were excellent.
