Casa Amigos - Scottsdale

I would suggest visiting this establishment for evening drinks, snacks, and a lively club atmosphere. I was under the impression that it was a suitable dinner spot, but unfortunately, there were not any tables big enough for our group. The tables were more suited for drinks and appetizers. The restaurant was crowded with many staff members standing around without acknowledging us, but our server was excellent. The food was delicious, although the portions were on the smaller side, the prices were reasonable. The drink menu did not have prices listed, and we were surprised to find out we were automatically charged for premium liquor.

We are from Chicago and we were looking for a place for dinner for 9-12 people. Casa Amigos popped up on Open Table with an available reservation and based upon the photos of the food, we booked it. EPIC FAIL! It is NOT a restaurant, it is a club. It is not a place to meet other adults for dinner. When we arrived, we were aggressively patted-down. My 56 year old husband was asked to pull his shirt up above his stomach during his pat-down and we should have left at that point. There are not any actual dinner tables so we were escorted to a lounge sofa that had one end table that was used as the main table and the sofa was disgusting. No clue what had previously happened on that sofa, but I sat on my jacket so that my skin did not come in contact with the fabric. We said we would order a drink and go, but of course the three white wines that were listed on the menu were unavailable and we were told that they did not currently have ANY wine. Once our group of 9 fully arrived, we ordered several appetizers that did not fit on the table so we put our beverages on the floor. And since we could not get another reservation anywhere, we ordered a few dozen tacos. When our food arrived, the DJ started and we could no longer hear each other over the base. We ate our tacos, that looked nothing like the photos, paid our bill and left. Lesson learned, do not make a reservation based on photos of the food. LOL......NEVER AGAIN!

Service was great, but this is a 21+ club not a restaurant. This would have been helpful to know since we planned a celebration with people who were not 21

The restaurant was closed for a private event even though we had an active reservation. AVOID

Open table accepted and confirmed my reservation days earlier for a part of (12) on Sunday at 11am. The restaurant even has a brunch menu available online, and specified accommodating large parties. Well turns out they don’t open until 2pm on Sunday so my entire party stood outside in 110 degrees as we had to cap restaurants and detour at the last minute. Not sure who dropped the ball, but definitely don’t plan anything here.
