Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen - Scottsburg

I placed my order at 11:51 and took a seat to wait. After a long wait, I checked back at 12:25, only to be mistaken for a new customer. At the time, there were only three of us in the restaurant. The man in front of me spent $20 but left without receiving his food. Meanwhile, the group behind me got their order before I did, and it was incorrect. I finally received my food at 12:30, a full 39 minutes after ordering. Honestly, I could have prepared it myself in the kitchen faster. Fortunately, this was just a business trip because I will not be returning. The management here needs improvement; they can certainly do better.

I hadn’t had Popeyes more than a few times, and my previous experiences weren’t outstanding. However, at my kids' insistence, we decided to give it another try, and I was pleasantly surprised—it was really good! The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly.

Absolutely unacceptable! We were the only customers in the restaurant, yet every single table was dirty, and it was only 3 PM. The bathrooms were in terrible condition—one was out of paper towels and the other was overflowing with water. The cashier spent the entire time we were there on her phone, which is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness. If you have time to relax, you should have time to tidy up. This was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

Went to dine in with my family on a car trip and we were met with a very dirty and gross dining room, poor staff, and overall bad service.The dinning room was very dirty with all of the tables but one being sticky, messy, and overall gross. The floor had a few dead bugs, trash, and spills all over. This was when they were dead inside so there was nobody in the dining room but me and my family.The staff didn't seem very knowledgeable when taking our order, which our order contained no specialty items. Just straight off the menu. We waited for around 30 minutes to get our order for four as they served the ocasial customers in the drive through in basically seconds. When going up to ask to get our order refunded as we an animal in the car, the manager stopped us and said they were bagging our food. She told us the wait was because the chicken takes 15 minutes to cook (which we were there waiting for 30 minutes), but in our waiting time, they handed out many other orders almost instantly.Overall just bad service and a very dirty dining room with dead bugs. The chicken was alright, but the fries and biscuits were stale and cold.

Their hours say they open at 10 on Sunday’s. Drove out of our way and arrived at 11:15. We waited in line behind a few cars before realizing no one showed up to work today. There were no employees there and no signage. Would not recommend this location.
