Hemelvaart Bier Cafe - Scottish Borders

I had a fantastic time at Hemelvaart Bier Cafe! They have a wide variety of beers and John is very informed about them and the various breweries. The homemade food pairs perfectly with the beers. I am excited to go back and try some new drinks.

The food is great, the atmosphere is charming, the staff is friendly, and they have a wide selection of real ales, including many local and unique options. Had the pheasant and pancetta pie, it was incredible. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a lovely saison beer only served in schooner sizes but prices aren't too bad.
