My fellow SW and NW Ks friends…. Last night we took our son Case out for a bday dinner. People that know me know that I am a foodie! I had the best prime rib dinner in a long time at the Majestic in Scott City. From Amarillo to McCook at the Coppermill and KC to Denver. Friday and Saturday only but definitely a must and a reason for a little road trip.

What a cool place, great atmosphere, service and food! I had the ribeye with German potatoes and my colleague had the grilled shrimp with rice and green beans. Both dishes were expertly prepared. The ribeye was one of the best restaurant steaks I’ve had in quite some time. Service was excellent and friendly. Atmosphere preserves the historic vibe and it sounds like more updates to the experience are on the way. Ample room for any size group or event. Highly recommend a visit.
