I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A special mention goes to our waiter, Jeremy, who offered us fantastic service. I highly recommend this place—definitely a 10/10!

Last year, I remember enjoying the Crispy Deviled Eggs and Tuna Tartare. The deviled eggs were exceptional, and I regret not ordering them again this time. However, we did get the Tuna Tartare, which was a flavorful delight—definitely one of the best dishes of the evening! We also ordered oysters with raspberry cocktail sauce as a special. While the concept was intriguing and the sauce was tasty, the oysters were slightly sandy and had a stronger ocean taste than I would prefer. I considered giving a four-star rating just for this dish, but everything else about Metropole is truly wonderful. I kicked off the meal with a Hocus Pocus cocktail made with a house-made curry syrup and featuring "magic" as the final ingredient. This drink was something truly special; the flavors were unique and hard to describe, unlike any cocktail I've ever tried. For our main courses, we chose the Herb Brined Chicken and the Black Hawk Smash Burger. The chicken was amazing—moist, flavorful, and paired with perfectly cooked burnt carrot risotto. Everything on the plate complemented the chicken beautifully; it was simply outstanding! It was quite a generous portion, and despite my best efforts, I still left a bit of risotto behind. Mark thoroughly enjoyed his burger, praising everything from the patty to the bun, which was soft and flavorful, enhancing the overall experience. I can confirm the fries were fantastic, as I couldn't resist stealing a few from his plate! Now, onto dessert. On our last visit, we indulged in their unique corn ice cream, which was out of this world. This time, I opted for a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of pumpkin. The ice cream had the perfect melt you would expect from high-quality ice cream. Mark went for the Mocha Mousse, which was a nice-sized dessert that tasted simply divine. I managed to steal a few bites; the mocha flavor was pronounced, and the crunchy crust paired beautifully with the creamy mousse. I highly recommend the Mocha Mousse! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance in catering to our dining needs. There are so many dishes we haven't tried yet, and we will definitely be coming back for more!

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my 25th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! Our server, Jeremy, was amazing. The smoked chicken and grilled ribeye were delicious. I highly recommend getting the potatoes and cabbage as sides—they were packed with flavor!

Great ambiance and service. The salmon was cooked perfectly! To note I was confused by the accompaniments, and my potatoes and lentils were undercooked. However, neither was enough to dissuade me from reordering as the salmon was absolutely delicious.

Visited tonight with family for a pre show dinner. (Just across the street from the Aronoff). We arrived early and took advantage of the hotel museum while our table was being prepared. We were seated on tine for our reservation and given a host (David) who was attentive and considerate about pacing ourselves to get to the show on time. To start, we ordered a bit of everything for the table bread, deviled eggs, blackened peppers, cheese and jam with toast, and oysters on the half shell. It was all great and fun that the table got to experiment with foods. We all tried something different for our main course and did a little sharing steak, salmon, duck, and the excellent recommendation of the rigatoni bolognese. While we were pressed for time we still managed an olive oil cake with whipped cream and fig sauce for dessert YUM Wonderful evening, food, and service. If you are headed downtown or to a show at the Aronoff this would be a place to try!
