Base Camp Café

Not a fan. The edamame salad was tasty but not filling as it was mostly cos lettuce. The staff looked bored as hell and the layout was difficult as the utensil dispensers were far over to the back door whereas the drinks were closer to the pick up area. Not much in selections of places to eat but I'd pack a lunch in future if we go to the Cincinnati Zoo again.

I ate here as part of a larger group. This restaurant was continuously busy. The restaurant staff kept the flow going and the food coming out. Our food was slower coming because it all came out at one time and we had a larger group. But, the food was good. The restaurant is clean, and well maintained.

The LaRosa's pizza was terrific and the service was great but I don't want to remortgage the house for it.

Better than expected for during the lunch rush. The food was good and outdoor seating was great.Vegetarian options: Great vegan and gluten free options.Kid-friendliness: Exactly what was needed with hungry kids.

Overpriced, simply average food and drink.....we were a customer, but only because we had young, hungry children. My recommendation; next time, brown bag it for the entire family ; there are multiple areas to eat as a family; you'll be much more satisfied, and have for more enjoyable things you need. Coolers and baskets allowed in the zoo.....it's a short walk back to your car if you don't want to be burdened with it all day.
