This large scallop shell came from a late lunch that we had in Scilla, Italy. I had seen that a couple were eating seafood, out of the biggest scallop shells that I had ever seen, and I asked the owner of the restaurant if I could buy one(between his broken English and our broken Italian). He said no, but would give me one. So, it came home with me and I gilded the shell as a memory!!! Thank you for the shell and the food/service was beyond professional.
