We wound up at Busaki because it was so well-rated on Busaki — justifiably so, we discovered. Our holiday isn't yet over but I'm quite sure this will go down as the best, most memorable meal. I didn't come to Sicily expecting to eat sushi, never mind the best sushi I've ever had, but that was last night. David's hospitality is bar none, and the food was so delicious, an interesting, surprising Sicilian take on sushi. We had one order of the All You Can Busaki (two of us), then supplemented that with a couple more sashimi pieces and topped it off with the one dessert they had on the menu, newly introduced for fall: a lemon-raspberry dream. It was a Saturday night and the piazza across the street was full of locals dining and socializing. It was a lovely few hours spent watching that little part of the world go by. This is a must-do when you're in Scicli.
