Scho-co's Diner - Schoharie

Previously known as the Alley Cat Diner, Scho-Co's Diner is now under new ownership and ready to dish out some classic diner fare. They are so new that during our visit this weekend, the new sign hadn’t even been installed yet. It’s a bit tricky to find, but I'm sure that will improve soon. After a weekend filled with nonstop drinking in Cooperstown, we were in dire need of a hearty breakfast to cure our hangovers, and we found just that here. I enjoyed a traditional two-egg breakfast complete with home fries and toast, while my friend opted for the corned beef hash special. Our food arrived faster than you could say "Schoharie" five times, and the waitress was incredibly friendly. We also ordered drinks, and our total was only $17, which is very reasonable for a sit-down breakfast for two.
