This summer we wanted to go to the Königssee. Sweetheart was already on a children's refreshment in Schönau when 7 years old and had many beautiful memories in mind. On the other hand, I have never been there and so I went to the net to find accommodation in Schönau at the end of April. After day-long browsing we opted for Hotel Hanauerlehen in Schönau. Their well-opened website made me a holiday in the house even after the first click tasty. Rooms are 38, in different sizes and locations. Let yourself be pampered in a beautiful environment and look forward to a relaxing time in our house. As it is in life, we told the relative that we had booked in Schönau. And so a sister of my wife, with her husband, smelled of our narratives and his own impressions from the website Lunte and wanted to accompany us. Breakfast was served by the buffet, which left nothing to be desired. For a 3 star Garni Hotel we found this very well equipped. The coffee or tea was served by friendly local staff, empty plates removed from the table, so that the postponement had again place. In general, the atmosphere between staff and guest was pleasantly relaxed. And the owners did a rest with good suggestions and always open ear for questions. When we came back from the ugly dinner, we took place in the Breadtimestüberl to play cards. At 9 p.m. there was the last order, one paid his drinks and could theoretically sit until morning. The location of the hotel is 1A, in the middle of the village on a plateau-like hill, with very beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It is not possible to hear from the cars passing through the town. Also the rooms are not brightly sounded, so a pleasantly relaxing rest was obtained. Several quite good access options are within walking distance in a radius of about 5 to 10 minutes. Bus stops for trips to Ramsau, Berchtesgaden, Bad Reichenhall or Salzburg, mostly free. After Salzburg 5 Euro for return journey. Parking is enough in front of and behind the buildings. A further advantage: For shipping on Lake Königssee you get the tickets at the hotel, you don't need to get into the 100 m long snakes of Chinese, Japanese, etc. in front of the ticket offices at the lake, but you can enter directly into a ship. Conclusion: We and our companions can recommend Hotel Hanauerlehen. A look at the website is worthwhile for interested parties.
