Contribuiți la feedbackEaster Monday, nice weather, appetite and hunger – what do you want more? Joy from the gastronomic section Black Forest plan a small trip to the culinary diaspora and still have a space free on the back of the mobile base. I come and look forward to new, unexpected! Although the small hamlet Oberlengenhardt belongs to the municipality of Schömberg (which has been called “Glücksgemeinde” for a few years for inexplicable reasons), one feels quite far away from the shot and very secluded. Probably there is not even a baker or a supermarket on site. Don't worry as long as there are some restaurants that keep the chicken. The Landgasthof Ochsen has done this for some time and gives the guest at least in advance and practically on the homepage the feeling of moving on a safe, well-developed terrain. What a fraudulent misleading! Well, the parking spaces in front of the house are fully and well equipped, our table reservation proves to be a great idea and really necessary – but the experiences in the evening let us surprise and question the reputation of the house. The oxen as a family business combines a traditional restaurant with a regional/seasonal menu with an appealing hotel business. Actually ideal for family celebrations, weekly arrangements, small breaks. The air above is sparkling and fresh, the noise pollution goes against zero – and fine dust pollution is a foreign word. In addition, the large cities of Stuttgart and Karlsruhe have arrived very quickly. The house presents itself in unpretentious style, with discrete work and some modernizations from the second half of the last century: bubble windows, dark wood, the genetic black forest balance. If you are looking for the way to the restaurant, you can climb a small staircase with several steps – for people with disabilities or with small children/ with strollers quite difficult. Unfortunately, I didn't find any flat access. The toilets are then deeper. One is guided through a veil channel which is unfortunately traversed by unpleasant odor. We will receive friendly after we have called our reservation and led to our quiet table in the next room. On Easter Monday at 17:30, most tables seem to be occupied or reserved. After us, other guests come in a fast order so that the place is already fully occupied an hour later. Complete use – and at a very remote location in the North Black Forest? Good performance! We're impressed. The young, but professionally acting lady from the service is nice and open, but gives her help status open. Nevertheless, she is very committed to answering all our curious questions and learning even more. Your disarming charm is wonderful! Many long-term employees who have already lost the boring routine could cut off a corresponding piece. And we are really sorry that we have to load many complaints and negative comments with her. She can't do anything for the misses in the kitchen... What we drank: a top chilled white fruit, as it is rarely experienced (the quarter for 4.60 euros), a semi-dry but amazingly full-bodied trollinger with Lemberger (5,00 euros), a squirting, acidic red wine choir from Lemberger in the district glass, which unfortunately has already come out of fashion on all sides (3.00 euros). The surprisingly short waiting time for the main square is bridged with a tomb from the kitchen. Unfortunately, the packaging with fresh cheese and salmon probably had to survive too many uncool hours... Something sensitive spirits feel the flowering, slightly acidic taste, which actually indicates that the food is no longer completely deaf. I guess I'll leave the Hors d ́Oeuvre. The main course is also served so quickly that you need to doubt something about fresh preparation. The small Wiener Schnitzel (16.50 Euro) tastes perfect, the Pommes frits presented with them look absolutely self-made and are voluminous, wide, tasty, well seasoned. As very disappointing, however, the beetles (11,80 with additional salad from the buffet) are devastated, which are visually very advantageously presented in the iron column, but are tastefully a catastrophe. Here you have completely forgotten salt, pepper and other spices. The court can no longer save after the seasons. We inform the young service that immediately informs the kitchen and returns with the information that the cheese would have changed. What is advertised as a mountain cheese simply tastes nothing. You can't eat that. The last rescue is the salad buffet where you can serve generously. The buffet is slightly uncomfortable placed in a corner but has important ingredients for saturation: potato salad, corn grains, herbal salad, pumpkin seeds and seeds, carrot salad, radish salad. During the meal we also perceive the side table complaints. Apparently the usual/expected standard is not really offered today. Maybe the cook is sick, maybe he's just not concentrated or under stress? I'm sorry we had to discharge our innocence in service. Back remains a very ambivalent feeling.
