Contribuiți la feedbackUrbayrian pension as from a picture book a visit in the rustic and rustic “Wurzhütte” is an absolute must for us if we again enjoy a small holiday at the spitzingsee and so we have in the eye, our last visit - this is already three years back - to have a new evening meal here to make a beautiful day of hiking. the historical “Alte Wurzhütte” is a mountain guest house with restaurant and 36 guest rooms (Hütten-Hotel) and looks back on a very long tradition. the guest house was built in 1720, in a unique location on approx. 1100 meters high, where all roads end. the traditional mountain guest house „Alte Wurzhütte“ is located directly on the south bank of the spitzingsee, surrounded by beautiful Bavarian mountain panorama. directly in front of the entrance door of the “Alten Wurzhütte” begins the mountain valley “Valepp”, through which a murmelling mountain stream flows. for the beautiful summer days there is relaxation and relaxation in the middle of this beautiful nature, yet an idyllic beer garden. the restaurant area with log cabin ambience, in which the cozy atmosphere is made large, consists of three interconnected rooms, in which up to 160 people can be accommodated depending on the flyer. we stayed here for dinner on Monday night and had already been living for it because we had hardly found a free table on the day before. Even tonight, the traditional gas house was already well filled, which speaks in the regular to eat and the pleasant atmosphere. but here also the note that they must already like the defensive Bavarian cuisine with large portions. otherwise it is also worth visiting the unique rustic gastronomy only for a bag. everything has only a very special flair if they like the naturalness. we have always tried the “Wurzhütten specialties” and did not regret this one. I had ordered myself fresh from the many, a half dizzy with knuckles and crumbled for 11,90 € and my wife had a "wurm hütten toast" for 11,70 €, which was a pig fillet on toast with sassauce and salatgarnitur (see photos). we had not all eaten because there was still a apple kitchenrl with vanilleeis and saw for 5,80 € for the finish, but that was only a part with two tellers. not least to finish the evening, there was a high-percent original bavaraian crimson with the name “HPH’s Bockfieber” for 3,50 €. Not cheap, but with a unique taste experience to complete the still detested food. After a long hiking day on itzingsee perfectly suitable for Bavarian dinating . the quality of the dinnings is super and from the value-performance ratio I find it also here. one of my clear favorites when I'm on the way to the sea. at the weekend you should reserve the restaurant in the evening as the restaurant is well visited. in the summer in the beer garden also has something, since the location of the restaurant directly connects to the red wall area. perfect my mind for the after the hiking half.

In summary, we once again had an unforgettable stay in the original and cosy inn and tasted, the “Wurzhütten specialties” also have us, so that we can fully recommend the traditional mountain inn “Alte Wurzhütte” for all nature lovers and friends who also like a decent meal. The senior manager, with her incredibly unfriendly, grumpy way alone yesterday evening, managed to upset about 27 guests, including at least 9 regular guests. A company of about 13 15 young women had brought a super Bavarian musician, probably after prior consultation by e-mail. He played only beautiful folk music in the back room on his queue every normal place would look forward to such a nice live music for free on Saturday night. The mood was magnificent, everyone has heard that they had a Gaudi there and almost everyone has been very pleased to see that it was a bachelor party. The volume was in no way exaggerated: so that we could keep entertaining. The senior manager, however, complained so unfriendly to young women about the volume and even shouted at the young bride that she almost cried on this very important evening for her. You were so spoiled for the evening and the mood that they soon left the rage guards with their company. At our table, the senior manager also came to pass by our parents to leave their bad mood directly to our children. Even these would not be calm enough. The sound makes the music and it didn't go. The guests of the neighboring table also found it impossible and just as we left the place out of solidarity with the bride and about the children's inconsistency. We have always eaten well and liked in the Wurzhütt, given plenty of tips and given close friends even a consumption voucher of 500€ for it, but after this evening we no longer want to return.
