We had an amazing stay at Michael's and recommend it to all! Michael is very accommodating and flexible we called on the day and Michael had a room available for us immediately. Great beer garden/terrace on the river, great location in town and awesome hikes starting very close by.

Cute small hotel run by the guy by the name Mikel. He is very friendly and ready to assist at any point of time. He is a professional chef himself and offer very good meals. He makes you feel special and we really appreciated this.

Awesome host and charming Hotel. Loved it all. Micheal will have you feeling like your part of the family in no time. One of the best if not the best stops in Germany for us on our two week trip. Stayed only one night but could have stayed for a week. Very relaxing and friendly place.

A lovely restaurent in Shciltach. The owner was so kind and it was great that he speaks fluent english. We ordered the local saussage with fries as well as gulasch soup and salad and all dishes were just great. For dessert i ordered the apple strudel which came out warm and fresh. Excellent choice for lunch!

A gasthof is exactly what you get when you stay here. The owner treats you like his own family or friends and will make sure you have everything you need for a great stay in this beautiful picturesque town. Michael made us feel very welcome with a surprising gift at breakfast, a very nice touch! Snacks without ordering for them, brought out on the terrace with a beer in the evening was a surprise as well. Without all the unnecessary luxuries you have a comfortable stay at a very good price!
