Contribuiți la feedbackWe came in on a Friday night around 1am, and they opened the kitchen up just for our group of five, great first impression. The staff was quick to help us with our drinks and food. Got a drink poured very light, but after letting the bartender know, she fixed it right away!
I love this place! The drinks are great and a reasonable price. Music is up to date with a splash of awesome oldies. Although I have only ate their once (pizza) I don't have anything bad to say about it. Also there is a huge mix of people not just polish people as stated in another comment. Check this place out on the weekends and you won't regret it.
DO NOT EAT HERE! Never go here. Ever.If you read no further, then that 's all you need to know. A friend of mine and I recently tried this pub an a whim. I live in the area and we are both large guys who LOVE our food. We know when its good and we know when its bad. And in my opinion this place took bad to a whole new level. The food was bland, tasteless, greasy, stale, and inedible. However, we tried to eat it anyway out of politeness and hunger. Only to be rewarded with food poisoning, and to be accused of attempting some sort of scam for our efforts. Management was sympathetic to our plight... Not sympathetic enough to offer a discount, an apology, or any attempt at affability... Or even an appearance at our table. Or the completion of a phone call. We paid full price for a barely half eaten meal (a fact that management later used for justifying not offering any discount perhaps I should have returned the rest of the meal for a refund as I didn 't end up actually digesting ANY of it and decided not to come back. I was even O.K. with that until I became violently ill. It was at that point and time I called the restaurant and the manager offered an explanation, of her own free will, as to why she failed to apply a discount to our check (guilty conscience perhaps? as we did not request one. At which point the manager explained it must be my fault I felt ill after eating her food and that the vomiting was my fault, and that I should get better and then Jennifer hung up on me. Some other points I had issue with were: No free pop refills (BIG minus in Chicagoland!! $3+ to exchange your soup for a salad!!!!! However, in their defense their wings were quite good... Horribly mis shapen and unrecognizable to the point where we were unsure as to whether they were actually wings...from a chicken, or even from a bird... In fact the first thing my friend said when he saw them was What 's that, a mouse? ...But still quite good. And their soup did taste like it was freshly heated up in the microwave from its can. But the wraps that we had were literally like poison to me. I vomited blood for a day after eating here. However, the service was polite, friendly and quick. The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was standard America pub fair and clean. But the place was EMPTY. Probably because nobody was actually there to eat anything. All of this is, however, merely a very VERY FORMER customer 's opinion.
It's a nice quaint neighborhood bar. There's a DJ coming every night but there's a small dance floor. There are pool tables, jukebox, and a big bar area. The waitresses and the manager are very nice and they'll strike a conversation most of the time. The best place is patio.
