Kura Revolving Sushi - Schaumburg

This is a cool place. Really unique concept and it was exciting. Kids liked the sushi and it was fun to pick what they wanted. The other meals were just ok, the beef was too fatty and I walked away still hungry after paying over $60 for 3 people. Probably wouldn’t come back but it was a fun experience for the kids. Steffanie our server was really sweet and the robot is cool too.

This location wasn’t so good like the Chicago one.Sushi got this taste of being not super fresh. We were seated on the end of line with food so it was hard to grab any good food. I love sushi but this place was just okay. I miss more traditional rolls what they do not offer.Hard to grab food from under the plastic containers I think it should be without it, sometimes it doesn’t work correctly.

The fish is fresh and tasty. I can feel they are in the good quality. But they really need to improve the rice base. It is very loose and doesn't taste like good sushi. Don't have the high expectation for this price and I can give a 4 stars.Food: 4/5

First time here at this place. The concept is ok, however you find more empty plates revolving past you than actual food. Our server never came to the table until we pushed the call button, had to ask for refills on our drinks, never added any ice to the iced tea so the last glass was no ice and fairly warm. What we did manage to grab off the revolving bar was at least fresh...most plates you grab are about 3.75. 2 of us, 15 plates, a few sides and 2 drinks about 75.00. Again, great concept poor execution.

First time coming here. The food and experience was good but the service was not the best, we did not get our drinks for a while, had to called the waitress on the screen for them to bring the drinks. We also asked for water and that took a while as well, we asked for wasabi and they never brought it out but asked when we were done if we still wanted it. The food was good though and first time going to a revolving sushi bar and would go back.
