Chicago Prime Italian - Schaumburg

This restaurant was ideal for a relaxed dinner. It has a family-owned vibe and prides itself on making everything from scratch. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated promptly. The gentleman who took our drink order introduced us to our waitress, Karen, who was equally warm and welcoming. Karen took her time with us, went over the menu, and consistently checked on us throughout our meal. The food was delicious, fresh, and served hot. Even though we were just passing through, this place was absolutely perfect.

Wonderful, luxurious Italian restaurant with superb ambience, attentive service, and exceptional Italian food. Eggplant parmesan was among the best I've had, and the lobster ravioli was also excellent. This is a really first rate Italian restaurant.

Celebrated my brother’s 40th Birthday Customer Service Awesome! Food Was Amazing! The Owner sat and talked with us. He even took our pictures and included a selfie of himself also lol…Just Awesome Experience. We will Definitely be back!

We started with the Mushroom Al Forno, which featured a pesto sauce that was a delightful and unexpected surprise. My husband chose the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, while I opted for the Rigatoni alla vodka with crumbled sausage. I usually prefer pancetta, but since it was Valentine's Day, the menu had limited options. Every bite revealed the thoughtfulness that went into each recipe and sauce. The flavors were so vibrant, reminiscent of cherished home-cooked meals. Even the starter bread—which we happily used as a “spoon” to scoop up the extra sauce, a trick we picked up in Europe—was fantastic. I can't forget to mention the soup served before our entrees. Often, these feel like an afterthought at restaurants, but here it was just as delightful as the main courses. For dessert, we indulged in crème brûlée, which was creamy with a rich vanilla flavor. It was clear that great care, attention to detail, and a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients went into every aspect of our meal at this restaurant. Well done, Chicago Prime! We've found a new favorite spot and will definitely be back.

Had dinner there Friday night. The food, staff ambience ! We had the Dover Sole Cowboy Cut Ribeye. Both were excellent had leftovers for lunch the next day! We returned the next night for a surprise birthday party. When we arrived, the hostess told us we were at the wrong restaurant. The manager George drove us to Chicago Prime Steakhouse w/out hesitation, so we wouldn’t miss the Birthday Surprise! I would eat here a few times a month if I lived in the area. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you, George your excellent staff for a very memorable weekend.
