I have been going to big bowl for the past 10yrs. It’s always been a good service and good dishes . The food was always good. But recently on 7/25/24 went with family for dinner. We ordered kung pao tofu. Some how they added green beans . The beans was spolit. After complaining we ordered cashew tofu . They replaced for the kung pao. Not even a single piece of cashew found. Again after complaining they said they will put cashew bring. We got so frustrated told them bring the bill. That day bad service and very reluctant service. Now thinking I will go back or not.
Extend your hours. What restaurant closes at 8pm.. ridiculous.
I’ve never had a bad meal here. I always used to go to the Big Bowl in Chicago and I am very grateful to have another Big Bowl so close to my home. Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options. You can also create your own stir fry from a selection of vegetables.
The food here is not worth what they are charging because it lacks any ethnic tastes, is not prepared by Asian chefs, tastes like dennys or Greek diner. Very sloppy cooking their sauces taste like cheap bottled stir fry sauces. The fried calamari was good but again it tasted like Greek town or a sea food restraunt. Was there on June 25th,2024. The Kung pao chicken tasted like American slop and the service wasn’t the best. The chicken salad had almost no chicken and the cheap rice noodles were from a bag. Tasted very bad. Would be one star if the calamari wasn’t good . I would not consider this a Thai restraunt and there cooks are lamers as far as any Chinese or Thai cooking. Complained to the manager on duty and she applied a $5.00 discount which brought down the cost a little. Very disappointing in deed.
