Beach House - SCARNESS

Wife and I decided to eat in with a wood fired pizza. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Garlic and herb bread for entries. Pulled pork pizza for two. Cold beer and a wine. Food on time and hot. What more do you want. Great night. Highly recommend.

Dined in with our friends for lunch. We all ordered mostly burgers. Meals came out fresh and hot. They were all beautiful. The beer was cold and the food was fantastic!!

The venue was nice and modern with lots of places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was ok.... very southern American style. Three of us got the meat plate. Lots of meat but the coleslaw was old and soggy. The sauces must have sat there for hours before they sent them out as they had a crusty skin over them. Some of the pork and beef was nice but mostly dry. Went to get a glass of water for everyone at the table.... the glasses were filthy. Brown grime around the rim when we wiped them. So went to the bar to get clean ones.... not successful there either. The wait staff in the restaurant were very polite and attentive. This place has potential to be awesome however I won't be back.

Had a family dinner with a toddler too, and I can say that we did enjoy their delicious food. We had something like a seafood basket, and the food presentation was nice as well as the taste. And I think I want give credit to the management who provide a small paper bag with crayons in it and some coloring pages to keep the little one entertained, and I think that is one of the trick that we did had a lovely meal. Everybody was just enjoying the food and the place and some music.The staff are friendly and nice too.

Part of my job consists of me traveling away a lot and of all the places I travel and work at Hervey Bay has never sort of giving me a good ole grab me by the shoulders and shake my fillings loose ( the nicest way I could put it ).I went here last night and weighted down a bar stool drinking reasonable priced Beer for a hour and then went for a meal, where I choose the most expensive item on the menu and asked for the smoked meats platter with chips and coleslaw of coarse.I had sat down for about 5 to 10 minutes and my platter was served, wow fast service just what I like and on my bread cutting board there was a meat lovers delight, ( veggie's don't order this thinking the meat is made of tofu and soy powder ), truth be told I wasn't fussed on the dipping sauces but the rest of the platter was designed for a fat bloke like me to savoir and enjoy. Warning it might pay to share this with your loved or chosen one as it is quite filling.I think they looked at me weighing down the bar stool in the bar and said lets design that fat bloke some food he will eat, AND they did.
