Lo Scalo - SCARLINO

We stopped off the autostrade for lunch. Picked Lo A call because there were a few tables occupied. There is a nice outdoor shady area. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. This restaurant offers a full menu and is highly recommended.

It was me and my daughter. We ordered two pizzas and after 45 minutes nothing had been delivered. I asked for the pizzas again and they told me they were in the oven. After a couple of minutes the wife of the owner came back telling us they were not in the oven yet. No idea when we would get them. So she offered some bread and bruschettas more. One hour was gone and I went to the cashier and cancelled the order, asking for the bill for what we got so far (beer, water, some bread and the bruschettas). The owner complained about me cancelling the order, I told him that my 4-year-old daughter was really tired and we preferred to go home. He insisted it was our fault, that we had been told about the long waiting time, while actually nobody told us before (guys, I am traveling frequently in Italy and abroad, I know how to talk and listens to waiters). So we ended up with a very polite wife of owner unsuccessfully trying to arrange everything despite the bad organization and a quite arrogant owner not understanding the situation and even not listening to me. I paid what I had to pay and we left.

Locale pulito con ottimi piatti. Eravamo due famiglie. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il locale è carino e la proprietaria è una persona squisita che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Abbiamo mangiato i tortelloni con ricotta e spinaci con ragù alla Bolognese, gnocci alla sorrentina, un calzone, misto di carne di maiale e delle scaloppine fatte in vari modi. Tutto buonissimo. Mio figlio di anni non faceva altro che ripetere che il calzoni wra buonissimo. Poi la proprietaria sie è dimostrata una peesona solare e swmpre con il sorriso ed ha assecondato tutte le nostre richieste al meglio. Poi il suo liquore all'arancia era superlativo. Abbiamo prenktato anxhe per somani sera. Non potevamo trovare di meglio.

Pasta con le sarde doc! Non capita spesso in Toscana. Da provare
